As part of a design pitch I created 2 conceptual designs for Starbucks to celebrate 2014 and the year of the horse. The brief was to ensure that the horse is used somewhere in the design and that the feel and design is artistic and within the design circumference of current Starbucks designs.

As part of a design pitch I created 2 conceptual designs for Starbucks to celebrate 2014 and the year of the horse.  The brief was to ensure that the horse is used somewhere in the design and that the feel and design is artistic and within the  design circumference of current Starbucks designs.

I used a fairly generic representation of the image of the horse but used abstract geometrics and bright colours to convey this in one concept.  The other concept was inspired by more handcrafted artwork using felt and layers of different material in order to create a final composition.  Both were created in Photoshop and Illustrator.
